Kameron Westcott Admits She “Felt Alone” In Beaver Creek But Is Glad That She And Brandi Redmond “Are In A Good Place Now”

Kameron Westcott is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on last week's episode of The Real Housewives of Dallas. Kameron Westcott gives an update on her friendship with Brandi Redmond and explains the real reason she got so upset in Beaver Creek.

Bravotv.com: Tell us how you were feeling waking up the next morning and about this conversation with . What do you think of her advice?
Kameron Westcott: Cary had good intentions in trying to get me to just let go and move on and I sincerely appreciate it. However, I feel like she belittled me by making the "zip it" sign and made me feel like my opinion and emotions should be disregarded. It hurt my feelings I am not going to lie. I felt alone and I wanted to go home and just be with my family. While it only looks like Brandi Redmond had the baby for a short time before the announcement, in actuality she had it for months and which we hung out multiple times. I get it, I need to let it go and move on but at the same time, I have to admit that it was strange that someone I thought who was somewhat close to me hid a major part of their life for months. Again I am over it, Brandi and I are in a good place now, a really good place and I apologized for asking questions. I'll be keeping my mouth shut next time and instead just look at something PINK.

Bravotv.com: What do you think about what Brandi and Stephanie Hollman and the rest of the ladies said in the van? Did you feel everything resolved?
KM: LeeAnne Locken was right, the intent is more important than the words. Whether Stephanie said this or that it really doesn't matter, it was Stephanie's intent that upset me in that moment. Like always, Stephanie is a good friend to Brandi and will always come unconditionally to defend her. In the past, I used to feel they would gang up on me because when I had an issue with one of them, it meant I have to deal with them both, which can be exhausting. And ultimately that was probably the real reason I got so upset. However, I think we did clear the air and I learned that I can sometimes be a "badger" and I need to let it go and not sweat the small stuff, even when I think I am right, so I do really appreciate the other girls helping me with that.

Bravotv.com: What do you think about this queen conversation between LeeAnne and D’Andra?
KM: I am confused...they did get in a little argument but doesn’t everyone know LeeAnne is the Queen? The real question is who is the good Queen and who is the bad Queen? Hmmmm...

Bravotv.com: Tell us about the pageant – what do you think of LeeAnne opening up about her concerns about marriage?
KM: As I learned through my experience the previous night... Keeping your mouth shut and not getting into people’s business is the best thing to do. I don’t think LeeAnne should have had to explain and address this matter to anyone just like I learned that Brandi did not need to explain herself to me that she had a baby for three months. What is confusing me though is why is it okay for everyone to gang up on LeeAnne right now? She is crying and is hurt. She does not want to talk about it, which means let it go! I guess I am the only one who learned a lesson last night?? I think it is brave of her to share her fears though, and I admire her for it.

Bravotv.com: How did you two choose D’Andra as the winner? What do you really think of the ladies’ talent?
KM:  I actually voted for LeeAnne in the pageant. Her rapping was beyond hilarious and she is extremely talented in many ways when it comes to performing! I am close friends with both ladies though so it was a hard tough competition, but I only gave points that were genuinely earned. I like to keep competitions fair. D’Andra’s talent to me was beneath her and I left never wanting to drink from a K-Cup Coffee machine again. I literally went home and bought a Nespresso!! Although if she showed me how she is a boss babe in the office she could have gotten my vote!! Overall nobody could ever come close to beating LeeAnne in a pageant. At least not in this group!! #QueenBee
