It hasn't been revealed in what capacity is Rost returning but she revealed to a fan after she was spotted hanging out with the current cast on Instagram. "Yup.," Rost responded when asked if she was coming back to RHOP.
Last month, Rost reunited with Gizelle Bryant. " yesterday of my 3 hour brunchiness, with Ms. G, lots of gossip and good laughs... #BallAndGalaGirl #RHOP," shared Katie on Instagram.
Last week, Katie shared a photo of Ashley Darby and Candiace Dillard, "Sip and Paint with these talented two! My fav form of #girltime #therapy #RHOP," she wrote.
Katie appeared in the first season as a full-time cast member but did not return for a second season after her engagement with then fiancé Andrew ended. Rost made a cameo appearance in Season 2. Since leaving the show, she has moved on and is a new relationship.
Back in June, Katie shocked fans when she tok to social media and was asked the public to pray with her over the custody drama she's was dealing with with her ex-husband. She revealed that she hasn’t been able to see her three children in a "month and a half," adding that she has had the cops called on her for trying to see her kids.
“I haven’t been allowed to see my children in a month and a half and have had the police called on me the last two times i tried to have parenting time. Including called on my mother, me and my grandmother on mothers day,” she wrote.
Since then, she has reunited with her children in a now-deleted post. Katie shares her three kids — son, James Rocco and twin daughters, Kathryn and Renee — with her ex-husband, Dr. James Orsini, an oncologist who was also her college sweetheart. The couple got married in 2011 and divorced shortly after while Katie was pregnant with their twin daughters, according to Reality Blurb.
MTO News reports that "Katie and her ex husband Dr James Orsinsi have been battling for custody of their three children for months. And the courts have decided to give the kids to her ex," adding that the "exact details surrounding WHY the court decided to TAKE the kids from their mom has not been disclosed."
