Season 12 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” drew nearly 3 million total viewers, ranking in 2017 among the top 15 reality series on cable with P18-49 and in the top five most affluent programs, among the top 100 rated scripted and unscripted series on cable.*

After the surprising reconciliation between Vicki, Tamra and Shannon at last season’s reunion, the ladies are working to rebuild their friendship and regain each other’s trust. But they all know it will take more than a hug to repair the rumors, betrayal and damage done over the years. Newly single, Shannon and Kelly have both moved into new homes and find that they are approaching their post-divorce life very differently, as they navigate the dating world, raise their daughters and launch their own careers. Vicki and Steve’s relationship is still going strong, but the OG of the OC wants him to commit and be more than just a boyfriend. Meanwhile, Tamra fears that a health scare for Eddie could have bigger consequences than just sidelining her husband from CUT Fitness. In the spirit of reconciliation and new beginnings, Tamra brings her estranged friend Emily and acquaintance Gina into the group to shake things up in the OC.

Meet the housewives:

A true rags-to-riches story, Emily Simpson is an Ohio transplant who came from nothing and willed herself to great success to become an attorney, a part-time party-planer, a wife and a mom.  However, motherhood has been a bumpy road for her after years of fertility and pregnancy issues. Resigned to the fact that she could not successfully carry her own children, Emily's sister Sarah stepped in as a surrogate for all three of Emily and her husband Shane's children - daughter Annabelle and twin boys Luke and Keller. With three children under five, and two step-daughters from Shane's previous marriage, Emily and Shane, are trying to plan out the future of their family and their careers together. Emily planned Tamra's baby shower for granddaughter Ava a few years back, but had a falling out with her shortly after befriending some of Tamra's former besties. Now focusing on mending the toxic relationships in her life, Emily hopes that she can find true friendships with the ladies.

This expressive outsider from Long Island is shaking up Southern California and its politically correct Orange County ways. As a mother of three kids under the age of five, Gina Kirschenheiter keeps her expectations low and her patience high. With her husband working and living in Los Angeles during the week, Gina is a single mom of sorts, which causes her to re-evaluate what she wants and needs in her marriage. Having only lived in Orange County for three years, she is still acclimating and is quickly learning that friendships in the OC aren't always what they seem.

Fearless and confident, there is never a dull moment around Kelly Dodd. Originally hailing from Arizona, Kelly's fiery Latin lineage and unfiltered opinions definitely brought the heat to the OC when she joined the cast in season 11. Newly single, Kelly has moved into a new home right down the block and focuses her efforts on the dating scene and its fair share of ups and downs. While divorce isn't easy, Kelly does find comfort in knowing that her daughter Jolie is navigating the change surprisingly well. Kelly's friendships are also experiencing a shift because of her divorce as she and Shannon bond over being single and her friendship with Vicki is put to the test when Vicki continues to hang out with Kelly's ex. But for Kelly "girl code" means everything and she is determined for everyone to get along so they can all finally start having fun together.

Born and raised in Southern California, Shannon Beador joined the cast in season nine bringing her unflinching honesty and unconventional ways. This season finds Shannon in a new home raising her three teenage daughters as she navigates finalizing her divorce and finding herself once again. She takes a big step trying to remove her wedding ring after 17 years and explores being single in the dating world. Still determined to lose the weight, Shannon refocuses her energy on getting into shape but is sidelined after an injury. Shannon rethinks her dream of opening a restaurant after working with QVC to launch a line of her own low-calorie recipes.

A cast member since season three, Tamra Judge enters season 13 on the move — literally. Wanting a fresh place to call their own, she and her husband Eddie upgrade and buy a new home, but things take a turn as Tamra deals with challenge after challenge. When Eddie is diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, Tamra fears that this health scare could have bigger consequences than just sidelining her husband from CUT Fitness. To add to this, their new home is wrought with issues which make settling in feel almost impossible...all while Tamra deals with an injury of her own, leaving her feeling limited and cursed! In the true spirit of reconciliation and new beginnings, Tamra works to amend her broken friendship with Vicki while also introducing her estranged friend Emily and acquaintance Gina to the ladies who unexpectedly shake things up in the OC.

The "OG of the OC," Vicki Gunvalson has appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County from its first season. This season, with daughter Briana and family away in North Carolina and son Michael buying a house in San Diego, Vicki is focusing on strengthening her relationships at home. Vicki and her boyfriend Steve are still going strong after two years and are making things more official with his recent move into her Coto house. But the pressure is on as Vicki hopes for a full commitment from Steve to ask her to marry him. With the ladies, Vicki is finally ready to do what it takes to move on and rebuild her bond with Tamra and Shannon, but quickly finds her friendship with Kelly on the rocks. Also, always looking to put her best face forward, Vicki decides to go under the knife once again.
