Vicki Gunvalson’s Daughter Briana Culberson Underwent Surgery Due To Complications From Lupus, Vicki And Ryan Culberson Give An Update On Briana Following Her Surgery!

Vicki Gunvalson's daughter Briana Culberson underwent surgery earlier this week due to complications from her lupus diagnosis. Briana's husband, Ryan Culberson shared the news via Instagram Monday, April 2.

"Her lupus is causing inflammation around her heart and is causing it to go in and out of irregular heart rhythms now requiring her to have a cardiac ablation," he captioned a photo of Briana in the hospital.

A cardiac ablation is a procedure used to correct heart rhythm problems, or arrhythmias, by scarring or destroying tissue in the heart that's causing them. The procedure is usually done with catheters, but it can also be done through open-heart surgery.

Ryan also asked fans for their support during this difficult time for Briana. "Please keep my wife in your thoughts and prayers!" he said on Instagram.

Looks like the prayers worked because Vicki and Ryan took to Instagram to share a health update on Briana, revealing that she is fine and is now at home recovering from her surgery.

"Thank you for the abundance of messages and comments over the last couple days, she’s home!," Ryan shared on Instagram with the caption, "Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers over these rough couple of days! She is now home resting peacefully."

"Thanks everyone asking about Briana. She is at her home in NC resting with Ryan and the boys. You are all so sweet. #LoveMyDaughter #LupusStinks," Vicki shared on Instagram.

Briana was diagnosed with lupus in 2016 after years of health challenges. She has undergone surgery on her thyroid, her leg, her neck, and she has had enlarged lymph nodes removed in the past.
