The Herald Sun reports that The Real Housewives of Melbourne star Janet Roach is suing through the Supreme Court, claiming that her career as a property developer has been ruined due to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after a fire left her son Jake Zogoolas with third-degree burns to 70 per cent of his body.
The publication reports that Janet was left 'introverted' due to the incident and can't enjoy social, sporting or recreational events.
Janet was left with a depressive disorder and suffered nervous shock as her son recovered.
Jake was accidentally doused in petrol and went up in flames while sitting around a campfire at a friend's 21st birthday party in April 2011, reports The Daily Mail Australia.
The Herald Sun reports that Janet claims the owners of the property - Harold and Bonnie Clapham, AFL star Tom Hawkins' in-laws - didn't keep guests safe or supervise them when alcohol was supplied.
Their son James is also being sued for reportedly pouring an accelerant into the fire.
