Andy Cohen Opens Up About The Real Housewives Of D.C. Cancellation!

This week, Andy Cohen finally revealed the real reason why The Real Housewives of D.C. didn't return for a second season during Tuesday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen's After Show when he discussed it with the show's guest Lisa Rinna and Meghan McCain.

Cain told Cohen that she would like to see RHODC to return with a new cast. That’s when Andy confessed that he really wanted a second season, however, the Salahi’s shenanigans pretty much sealed the fate of that show.

“Frankly, I really wanted to bring DC back for season two,” said Andy. “It really picked up half of the season but the Salahi’s really tanked that show.”

“When the FBI is asking for raw tapes of your show, good thing to maybe not move forward”

RHODC cast members Mary Amons and Lynda Erkiletian took to social media and thanked Andy for finally addressing the topic.

When a fan  thanked Andy for addressing the topic, he responded: "I've said the same thing for the last five years!"

Following the cancellation of RHODC, all cast members brokeup/divorced their significant others for various reasons. Lydia, who continues to run her successful modeling agency, T H E Artist Agency told us exclusively why she and then boyfriend Ebong broke up via our exclusive interview with her a few years back.

Cat announced her separation from her husband Charles during the RHODC reunion special. Years later it was revealed that both Mary Amons and Stacie Turner divorced their husband for unknown reasons, but it seems like their split was amicably.

Since the show, Cat moved to Europe and had another baby with her new partner. Meanwhile, Mary moved to Dallas and is neighbors and friends with RHOD's LeeAnne Locken. Mary now runs her own successful interior design business, called Mary Amons Design.

However the most shocking break up came from Tareq and Michaele Salahi. No strangers to controversy, their break up made headlines. Their marriage ended in 2011 when Tareq announced that Michaele had possibly been kidnapped since she was "missing." It was later reported that she ran away and left him for her former boyfriend, Neal Schon from the rock band Journey. Tareq later sued Schon for $50 million.

According to Radar Online, the case was settled in 2012 and Tareq walked away with $12,000 and his mortgage paid for a full year. In his initial suit, Tareq complained that the stigma of being cheated on publicly hurt his image and cost him lucrative opportunities.

In 2013, Michaele became Ms. Schon when she married Neal in a televised pay-per-view winter wonderland wedding special.
