Slade Smiley Gives An Update On His Son’s Battle With Brain Cancer!

Slade Smiley recently gave an update on his younger son Grayson's ongoing battle with brain cancer. “He’s hanging in there,” Smiley told Page Six. “He recently turned 17, praise the Lord.”

“He does have a lot of complications, but he’s in regular physical therapy,” he said. “We have school come to the house, so he’s actually really looking good. Really, really good. I’m pretty excited.”

Grayson was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2006, and his mom updates fans on their son's ongoing condition via a support website as well as Facebook.

Meanwhile, Slade and Gretchen has been very vocal about wanting to have a child of their own via IVF. They previously tried three years ago, but Rossi said that they lost 14 of their embryos during the process.

“I tend to have children every 10 years,” Smiley joked, noting that his oldest son, 27-year-old Gavin, recently got engaged.

Rossi said, “We were laughing. We were like, ‘Your son is going to have a baby the same time we have a baby,’ which is going to be so funny and weird. But he says they aren’t having a baby for a while, so I think we’re in the clear.”
