REPORT: The Real Housewives Of Miami Cast Might Be Reuniting!

Rumor has it that a Real Housewives of Miami reunion might be in the works. Page Six reports that former cast members Marysol Patton, Alexia Echevarria, Lisa Hochstein and Adriana de Moura allegedly met with Matt Anderson and Nate Green, the heads of production company Purveyors of Pop at Soho Beach House where “the main topic of conversation was a potential reunion.”

Meanwhile, Last year, LALATE reported that RHOM was still under consideration for the network’s return, but with a major twist. The revamped new series will most likely air on Bravo as early as 2018, or as late as 2019. However, the show is likely not to be set in “Miami” but in a South Florida town somewhere close.

The website claimed that Bravo is considering doing the same for RHOM as they did with the cancelled Real Housewives of D.C., "when they decided to move the show to a neighboring town, refocused the storyline to an African American cast, and created The Real Housewives of Potomac."

According to LALATE, Bravo "is looking for the franchise not to be set in Miami but somewhere else in South Florida, with a different cast, and a different theme." Apparently, several production ideas have been to “spin” the show off from Real Housewives of New York City with a Palm Beach cast somewhat connected to Luann de Lesseps, or introduce it through a Kyle Richards connection in Boca Raton.

In 2016, Andy Cohen confirmed that RHOM was in fact cancelled. However, the Watch What Happens Live host revealed that the door is not shut close on the series. “Who knows?” Andy admits. “Never say never. I mean, right now it’s kind of dead in the water, but who knows?”

Andy revealed back in 2016 that the original RHOM simply didn’t work out. And in his latest book he wrote “I knew the first question was going to be when is Real Housewives of Miami coming back and I said, ‘Never say never.’ But I could see from the women’s faces that they didn’t believe me and then I kind of didn’t believe me, but I was getting nostalgic for them.”
