Danielle gave an update on how Teresa and Joe are doing today, now more than halfway through his prison sentence, in an interview with Us Weekly. “She’s doing fantastic actually. She’s a happy girl. She’s got a really good grip on everything that’s going on in her life,” Danielle shared. “Her and her husband [Joe Giudice] speak every day. He’s amazing. I speak to him on the phone, when I’m with her, and he has clarity and he’s done some nice soul searching and changes as well. I’m happy for them.”
Danielle also said that she's seen a change in Joe during his time away. “I just think he’s seeing things from a different perspective and he also appreciates his wife,” she said. “Not to suggest anything different, but look what’s going on. Look how she’s handling it. That’s a lot.”
Danielle previously defended Teresa in an interview when Kim D. brought up rumors that she had been "rekindling old flames." "It is absolutely 100 percent not true, and it is unacceptable to even suggest it," she said of the gossip to TooFab. "People need to stay out of her marriage. Her marriage is just fine. I've been there when she's been on the phone with Joe, and I've had the privilege of being a part of the conversation and speaking with Joe. You can see that they are madly in love with each other."
Teresa and Danielle reconnect and rebuild their friendship in Season 8. Teresa even apologized to Danielle and her youngest daughter Jillian for her "prostitution whore" comments when she flipped the table back in Season 1. Teresa is now getting ready to serve as Danielle's matron of honor when she weds fiancé Marty Caffrey.
"Yeah, she asked me to be her maid of honor," Teresa said on the The Daily Dish podcast. Teresa will play the role of matron of honor alongside Danielle's two daughters who will also be maids of honor.
"Yeah, I heard that the bridal party is huge," Teresa revealed.
So who else is in this massive wedding party? According to Danielle, other bridesmaids will include fellow Jersey 'Wives Margaret Josephs and Melissa Gorga.
