There's been numerous reports circulating various media outlets claiming that both Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson will not return to The Real Housewives of Orange County's upcoming thirteen season. However, new sources are claiming the opposite, revealing that both ladies are returning to the Bravo hit reality series, despite recent reports.
Page Six reported earlier this week that Gunvalson and Judge were considering leaving show.
“‘The Real Housewives of Orange County‘ reunion was extremely emotional because Vicki warned the girls that she is stepping down next season,” an insider told the publication.
“There have been quiet castings for new women,” the insider added. “The ‘Housewives’ franchise is thinking of new girls for the show and is asking around for new women for the next season. Vicki threatened to not come back at all if there’s a new cast.”
The insider also revealed that Judge “is also thinking of not coming back.”
However, new sources are shutting down these casting rumors and reveals that both Judge and Gunvalson are set to return.
“Many people were very confused what would happen after Vicki threatened to quit at the reunion,” a source told All Things Real Housewives. “She’s not going anywhere.” The insider calls the rumors “stupid” and points out, “every year this happens.”
“The network is ecstatic that the women have finally reconciled,” the show source continues. “This will help the show’s ratings. Everyone at Bravo is fully aware how much this season was lacking.”
“Tamra isn’t leaving either,” the insider revealed. “She plans to show the renovation of her new house and Jeff Lewis is hoping to lead the project.”
“They start filming next month,” the source adds.
Tamra then addresses the rumors, confirming her return in true Tamra fashion.
“Ya I’m coming back. Unless they fire me,” Judge told AllThingsRH. Judge also said that the same goes for Vicki.
Meanwhile, another source reveals that both ladies are definitely not leaving show anytime soon.
"Rumors implying that Vicki and Tamra are leaving are completely false, a source told All About The Tea. "Tamra is purchasing a more expensive house and needs the show's income. The show is her primary source of revenue.
The source tells the gossip site that "Vicki's position is that she stands as a Bravo original, she's not ready to walk away from that legacy just yet."
