Eva Marcille Will Make A Guest Appearance On New Season Of ANTM!

Eva Marcille is heading back to the show that made her a star. It's been confirmed that The Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie will make a guest appearance in the new season of America's Next Top Model.

As you may recall, Eva came to fame when she was crowned as as the winner of Cycle 3 of America's Next Top Model in 2004.

Tyra Banks confirmed that Marcille, who recently confirmed that she is expecting her second child, will appear on a forthcoming retro-themed episode of ANTM Cycle 24, which premieres on January 9.

“We were inspired by Throwback Thursday on Instagram and how popular that is, so we decided to dedicate an entire episode to Top Model throwback, and that’s something I want to continue on the show in the future: to always have an episode that’s all about the throwback,” Tyra explained to Entertainment Weekly. The episode will also feature former judge Nigel Barker and some other blasts from the past.

Also to come on this season of ANTM are some fierce queens from RuPaul's Drag Race, who help the model contestants learn how to strike a pose (“They’re so friggin’ gorgeous and can pose their asses off,” Tyra said), and a new rule allowing all ages (including a grandparent!) to compete for the chance to be the winner, reports The Daily Dish.

Last month, Eva teased about her upcoming role in the new season of ANTM.

"I actually will be back in the Top Model world this season, but the beauty of the show is that it’s been on for so long I don’t even think Tyra stayed abreast of everything that’s happening and it’s her show," she told Jezebel.

Eva also opened up about life after being on ANTM. "It’s been 13 years since Top Model. That’s a very long time. That’s enough time to rear a few children. We literally started and did Top Model in the beginning of the 2000s before reality TV was even considered a genre, when we were still trying to figure out what this machine or thing even was," she explained. "I think that Tyra is a godsend. The jewels and pearls of wisdom that she’s given me have sustained me over the last 13, 14 years, just teaching me the business part and prioritizing what’s real, what’s smoke and mirrors and teaching me who to be and how to behave in this business. My hat goes off to Top Model. I still talk to a lot of the girls from the show, specifically YaYa and Toccara from my season. That was Season 3, they’re on 23 or something crazy like that and they’re still kicking."
