CBS Reportedly Bans ‘Real Housewives’ From Joining U.S. Edition Of Celebrity Big Brother!

Earlier this summer CBS announced that they're working on their first Celebrity Edition of Big Brother. While there's no word on which celebrities will join the series, don't expect to see any Real Housewives since they been banned from appearing on the show, according to The National Enquirer.

“‘Big Brother’ wants to stay away from ladies who have been ‘Housewives,’” said a source, “because they’re looking for real celebrities who are not used to being on camera in a private setting.”

According to the publication, producers are looking at names including *NSYNC’s Lance Bass and former “Saturday Night Live” star Bobby Moynihanan.

While the U.S. version has banned Housewives from appearing on the show. The U.K. edition featured former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville last season, she was the first Real Housewives star from the the entire franchise to enter the CBB house.

Many current and former Real Housewives stars have appeared in other reality shows such as The Celebrity Apprentice, Dancing with the Stars and Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.
