Camille Grammer Gives Health Update Following Second Cancer Diagnosis!

Camille Grammer she is still in pain but is recovering well after undergoing surgery for skin cancer, almost four years after she was cured of a different type. Last week, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had revealed via an Instagram photo of her on a hospital bed near her oncologist that she had had a procedure to remove a squamous cell carcinoma, or skin cancer.


She said, "Thank God We found it early." The following day, she was back on the red carpet, attending the premiere of the Bravo hit reality series' eighth season.

"I'm in pain," Camille told E! News. "I made it here tonight. I was just like, 'OK, grin and bear it.' But I'm recovering well...I'm healing."

The mother-of-two shares more details about her recent health scare. “It’s a squamous cell carcinoma and it could show up on the skin or in your lungs, it could be in the back of your throat, in your vagina, in your labia, there’s many places it could show up. I had surgery three days ago and I’m out and about but I’m still healing and I’m still in some pain.”

When asked how she remains so positive, the Bravo reality star said: “Oh, my mom. My mom is fighting her third cancer and she’s an inspiration to me, she’s so strong,. I think I get my strength from her and my knowledge of knowing how to handle and deal with cancer,” she told Us Weekly. “We’re both there for each other. I think keeping your family close and having them support you helps you so much, and also having a good man in your life, and I have a lot of great friends too.”

As previously reported, Camille was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2013. After undergoing a radical hysterectomy in October of that year, Grammer announced she had completed chemotherapy and radiation in January 2014.
