Eileen Davidson Opens Up About Her Return To Days Of Our Lives And Reveals The Real Reason Why She Quit RHOBH!

Eileen Davidson may no longer be on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, however the daytime soap diva has remained busy with her work on both, The Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives. Now, the actress turned reality star reveals the real reason she decided to walk away from the  Bravo hit reality show.

"For three seasons I got to live in an alternate universe, which was interesting and bizarre and, because of my full-time job on Y&R, very stressful," she told TV Insider. "There was absolutely no bad blood, but I just didn’t want to spend any more time with that kind of energy in my world."

"They’ve asked me to come back a few times, but I’m not in that mind-set anymore," she continued. "I left the show for the exact same reason I decided to join it in the first place: Life is short."

Does Eileen thinks that doing RHOBH has had any negative impact on her career?

"That’s what’s been so fascinating. I’ve had people say to me, “I’m so glad you left that show because it can do such damage! I think for sure it’s going to ruin Lisa Rinna!” And I say, “Are you kidding me? Her QVC line alone is bringing in 50 zillion dollars a year!” I mean, this chick is off the charts!," she explained. "She just guest starred on The Middle. She’s coming back to Days. She’s killing it! I don’t think there’s any problem with anybody’s reputation or career when they do Housewives. Ever. I’ve had no negative repercussions at all. If anything, it was a tremendous learning experience. I have no regrets."

As previously reported, Davidson has returned to Days of out Lives to reprise her role as Susan Banks. As for her Kristen DiMera character, it's still unknown if she is going to make a comeback or at least a cameo appearance.

“This arc is mostly about Susan, but we can really cram in a lot,” she told TV Insider. “A few other people may be making cameos. You might even see a comb-over.”

Davidson can also be seen on 'The Young and the Restless' as Ashley Abbott weekdays on CBS.
