Brandi Redmond: “LeeAnne Wants To Control And Manipulate To Get Things Her Way”

Brandi Redmond is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Dallas. Brandi Redmond dishes on confronting LeeAnne Locken at the RHOD Season 2 reunion.

Brandi writes:

"Thank you for tuning in. I love the reunion set, and all of the ladies were gorgeous, so let me just get to this.

It’s obvious that I still get choked up when Stephanie and I have to look back at what we went through. It has made us stronger. I know Stephanie doesn’t blame me for neglecting Travis, and I appreciate her saying that. Stephanie is a beautiful person and would do anything for anyone in need. It’s a gift, and I know Travis is proud of her, too. She’s a super hero, saving lives and not threatening to kill people. Haha.

If you’ve been diagnosed with PTSD but never bring it up, I’m gonna call BS and tell you that it’s an excuse. I had lunch with LeeAnne after my brother was hospitalized from trying to take his own life battling PTSD. Not once did she say she had it, but she told me about others, including Rich, that have it. If she was dealing with it, we would all know that story by now. So, knowing that LL has a story to go with everything, I do think this is an excuse, and she knew I was calling her out. That’s why she said, "Be careful."

Moving on, Kameron saying I’m Oscar the grouch is a compliment. I think Oscar knows what he wants and isn’t ashamed of living in a trash can. I’d prefer that then living on eggshells and with a stick up my ass. It seems to me that she has to be this person she’s not because of her family. I want to see the fun Kameron. I’ll even let her in one of my trash cans so she can see what it’s like to get outside of her bubble — I’ve even got newspapers in the recycling bin so she can catch up on life.

Okay, I know a lot of people are wondering about feeling safe around LL. It’s not comfortable being around someone whose behavior is unpredictable. It takes away your sense of security and respect.  I don’t want myself or anyone to be put in a situation where safety is in jeopardy. LeeAnne wants to control and manipulate to get things her way. D’Andra even said that when things don’t go her way this behavior comes out. However, D’Andra thinks she can control her, but in fact, it’s just the opposite. D’Andra is doing exactly what Leeanne wants and needs her to do to make her excuses make sense of this pattern behavior. LeeAnne is always nodding her head and smirking, loving that she has an enabler. There is always an excuse, or it’s someone else’s fault. For example, trying to blame me for baiting her at the doctor’s office. I can’t tell you how relieved it made me that they checked the tapes with me saying nothing. Thank you, Andy, for clearing this up!

So we were told the set would be closed. Don’t you think I was nervous hearing Mark would be there? Yes, I was, but I also wanted the opportunity to apologize and for them both to hear me out. I didn’t appreciate LL walking off. It just showed me that she is so selfish that she made that situation about herself and didn’t want to be held accountable for her actions towards the man in person."
