The Real Housewives Of Santa Barbara Is Reportedly In The Works!

According to LALATE, Bravo is expanding The Real Housewives franchise and it's new destination will be in Santa Barbara. If everything goes as planned, the gossip site claims that the new cast of The Real Housewives of Santa Barbara are ramping up for a possible 2018 debut.

LALATE claimed that while there was a possibility of The Real Housewives of Santa Barbara happening years ago and casting was allegedly conducted, the series never came about. Then, two years later, Joseph Ferraro was reportedly tapped by Bravo and some time later, he allegedly oversaw the development of The Real Housewives of Dallas.

Currently, the casting company behind The Real Housewives of Dallas is reportedly working on the casting for The Real Housewives of Santa Barbara. The site also claims that Goodbye Pictures, the producers behind RHOD could be the production to bring RHOSB to life. However, the site reveals that Evolution Media, the producers behind RHOC, RHOBH and Vanderpump Rules will most likely be the frontrunners.

However, this isn't the first time rumors surrounded Santa Barbara. Back In 2012, “RHOSB” rumors first surfaced. Bravo shut down reports via their official website The Dish back on October 1, 2012 with the following statement: "If you bounce around some entertainment sites today (or are as nerdy as we are and have a Google alert for "Housewives"), you might've seen a story claiming that there's a Real Housewives of Santa Barbara in the works. It went so far as to say that the show is currently casting, and would be the third California-based 'Wives show on Bravo. Well, sorry to burst your Barbara-based balloon, but that's simply not the case," the statement continued. "The Dish can officially tell you that there is no Real Housewives of Santa Barbara show, and any rumors that you may have heard along those lines are simply that."

Last week, LALATE revealed that Bravo was bringing the Real Housewives franchise back to Florida, however the location will not be in Miami but in a new city perhaps in Palm Beach or in Boca Raton, along with a brand new cast.
