Sally Bloomfield And Venus Behbahani-Clark Reveal Why They Decided To Join The Real Housewives Of Melbourne!

The Real Housewives of Melbourne is returning to Foxtel's Arena on Wednesday, December 6. The reality show will include two new additions: glamorous lawyer Venus Behbahani-Clark and hotelier/homewares diva Sally Bloomfield.

Iranian-born Behbahani-Clark, who grew up in Italy, reveals she's known Gina Liano from her legal days.

“I’ve known Gina for almost a decade,” she told The Herald Sun. “She’s a barrister, and I’m a solicitor, and we’ve worked in the same jurisdiction.”

Bloomfield said joining the cast “wasn’t really on my radar,” but she was encouraged by her sons, who are 15 and 9. “My son said, ‘oh my God mum, you were born to be on this show.

“He was the one who talked me into it, because my husband (Ian Robertson) had only passed away not long before that. “I thought, ‘Why not?’”

Despite the drink-flinging antics of The Real Housewives of Sydney, Behbahani-Clark reveals that viewers will not experience that kind of behavior in Melbourne.

“We’ve all had our moments, but that’s not our style,” she told the publication. “And my daughter asked me, “please don’t throw anything around on TV’.”

Sally and Venus will be joined by returning cast members Gamble Breaux, Gina Liano, Jackie Gillies, Janet Roach and Lydia Schiavello

As previously reported, Chyka Keebaugh, Pettifleur Berenger and Susie McLean are not returning for the show’s fourth season.
