RHOD Season 2 Finale Recap: The Beginning Of The End [Episode 12]

I just finished watching the season 2 finale and my jaw dropped all the way to the floor. These Dallas girls really delivered everything and went out with a bang that is making me question how they could ever move forward.

Bravo treated us with a supersized episode so there is a lot to talk about. In short, Stephanie is building her home that Travis bought and they are covering that goddamn ugly pool. Brandi's doctor told her that she can have another baby but it should probably be in the next 6 months to a year. Kameron got her dog food into a retail store and while all these girls were closing up their storylines Cary was being gifted with a birkin to hide her skeletons next too.

LeeAnne and Rich threw a carnival themed engagement party and she invited her mom into town for the event. I was expecting LeeAnne's mom to be like a Disney villain but when she opened the door a cute little old lady came walking through. Totally not what I expected but looks can be deceiving. LeeAnne filled us in (again) that her mother left her to live with her grandparents and that she would only see her mom in the summer to work on the carnival. After a lifetime of never having an authentic conversation with her mother, LeeAnne decided to let her therapist help with their issues. They sat down and LeeAnne's mother explained for the first time that she always wanted her and always loved her but she wanted the best for her and that wasn't living with her. I can't believe that was the first time she's heard that. LeeAnne has gone 50 YEARS walking through life feeling abandoned and that no one would love her so to hear that she was wanted must of felt amazing. I can't get over the years they would of saved if they had this conversation earlier, but everything happens for a reason.

From one mother/ daughter issue to another. D'Andra had to find the courage to face Momma Dee and tell her that they were missing the ingredient L22 in her new product. Well Dee flipped out and D'Andra blamed herself. It wasn't her fault that they ingredient literally couldn't come. However Dee used this time to give D'Andra the keys to the business, which is the reason she moved back all those years ago. I was over the moon to see D'Andra get what she wanted but the credits at the end crushed my excitement because Dee hasn't full relinquished the reigns to the company just yet.

While LeeAnne and D'Andra were dealing with their mama drama, Brandi, Cary and Stephanie were having a lunch that seemed to be all about Miss Locken. Cary and Steph were giving Brandi an intervention because they thought that her calling Cary the nanny was being encouraged by her new friend LeeAnne. I'm a bit confused because LeeAnne said she had no idea that Cary was the nanny, and wouldn't she of said that last year if she knew?

Brandi took accountability for the nanny comment but said it was a retaliation to Cary saying she didn't want to be friends with them. Somehow Cary managed to blame THAT on LeeAnne as well. They showed us a flashback of LeeAnne saying that is ruins their reputation when Brandi and Steph play with dildos - but Cary still said what she said on her own. But I would of been pissed if someone was talking trash with me and then repeated it back to other people. When Brandi heard that it was "LeeAnne's fault" she told Cary and Steph that LeeAnne was telling her not to be friends with them. I don't understand how 3 grown ass women can blame someone else for their drama and then go back to being friends. Am I crazy? Literally every single problem that occurred they blamed on LeeAnne. There is one word for that: deflection!
