Lydia McLaughlin: “I Don’t Like Being Put In The Middle Of Other People’s Drama”

Lydia McLaughlin is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Lydia McLaughlin opens up about her relationship with her mom Judy and weighs in on Peggy and Diko Sulahian's anniversary party.

Lydia writes:

"Shopping with @ocjudymom! My mom is such a gift to me. Spending money, or raising money, we have so much fun together and I truly adore her. She is my best friend in the world. I am so grateful for my mother and our relationship. We have always been very close. We spend a lot of time together and shopping together is always a lot of fun. My mom has instilled in me to always be myself and beat to my own drum. She is a ball of joy and laughter and I treasure who she is. Yes, shopping is very superficial, yet we have a very deep relationship. She is always there for me, supports me, inspires me, and loves me like no other.

Doug and I were very excited to celebrate Peggy and Diko. They have an amazing marriage and a lifetime of love, not to mention a beautiful family. It was a very special night and I was so thankful to be there to celebrate with them. They had a wall of old photos of their original wedding. It was a peak into their life and I love getting to know them deeper. I treasure them and their friendship. Peggy was in her element like Tamra said. It was a special night and brought us all closer.

I don't like being put in the middle of other people's drama and when it came time to sit -- Doug had put our stuff at a table when we had arrived. That happened to be at Vicki's table. I was actually grateful, for I would never want anyone to feel left out or alone. I didn't at all feel like I was having to take sides, but was just sitting down where my purse was. I adore Vicki and I love Tamra and I don't want to ever hurt either of their feelings."
