"I mean to have alliances and friendships that are real and forming them and keeping them tight around me, I feel a lot safer being Danielle," she said on E!'s Daily Pop.
She continued, "I mean I say things that come out of my mouth, I think them for a moment and then I just say it, I don't really pause. So it left me a little compromised not having any alliances. This season's gonna go a lot differently."
When asked if she has a strategy for defending herself this season Staub said, "I'm just gonna feel safe and in my own presence just be me. I know people have my back this time and I'm not gonna be chased out of any place, I'm not gonna be...I'll be threatened I'm sure, I'm sure that will happen a few times."
While, Staub returned only as an official "Friend of the Housewives" for Season 8, Danielle reveals the tagline that she may have used if she was on the show in the opening credits as a full-time cast member.
"It's funny, 'cause I really didn't give too much thought to it. You would think I would have, but I didn't," Danielle told E! News. "I would have to say it would be, 'You think you know me, but you haven't gotten to know me yet'...Yeah, it would be something quirky and funny. I don't think I would be too serious with it, but I would have to give it a lot more thought than I have, to be honest with you."
Danielle reveals that she would like to reconnect with Dina Manzo. If you recall, Teresa and Danielle reconnected over yoga after Teresa was released from prison.
"My only interest out of all of them would be connecting with Dina, because Teresa clearly means a lot to me and Dina means a lot to her. They are very close friends...I would love to make amends there for the sake of Teresa...we don't have to be best friends, but let's move past it," Danielle said.
