RHONJ Newbie Margaret Josephs Was Sued For $12 Million In 2014 And Case Still Remains Open — Find Out Why!

It's been reported that Real Hosuewives of New Jersey newbie Margarmarget Josephs’ lifestyle brand, Macbeth Collection, was sued for $12 million by clothing company Vineyard Vines back in 2014 — and the case is still open. The judge ruled in favor of Vineyard Vines, and the new Bravo reality star was ordered to pay $300,000 in damages – but she never paid the full amount.

“Margaret didn’t abide by the ruling,” Vineyard Vines’ lawyer Todd Sharinn told the publication. The company is now asking for $7 million — and expects Margaret to pay. “I’ve seen some of her banking records… she lives a pretty good life, obviously good enough to get on RHONJ,” Todd revealed.

Meanwhile, Margaret’s rep had no comment, citing the fact that the litigation is ongoing.

While it's been reported that the lawsuit is still pending, the publication reports that Margaret earned her degree in marketing and fashion design and launched Macbeth Collection soon after. Since launching, her company has grown into a lifestyle brand, covering fashion, tech, beauty, and more.
