"Welcome back, y’all! Real news coming your way:

#NewsFlash: I’m ENGAGED!

Are you SHOCKED?

Well, I am BEYOND thrilled that I was able to share one of the best moments of my life with all of you! Luckily, I got to throw in some broncing bulls and a few rodeo clowns with it! So, who’s ready to break down this week’s show?

First, I want to say that I have many incredibly supportive friends here in Dallas. It was so kind of my friend Jay to come out and listen to me speak. He has always supported my dreams of being a speaker and constantly gives me valuable feedback on how I do. He works in the entertainment industry, so his experience has taught him what will and will not be successful. Unfortunately, I’m really not sure why D’Andra Simmons was so concerned with Jay’s presence. She has never voiced those concerns to me before, so I was kind of confused. Also, I’d like to clear the air about what D’Andra said in her confessional: I was not speaking ill of anyone. If you go back and watch, my only contribution to this conversation with Jay was to confirm that he knew Cary Deuber.

Let’s break up the negative for a minute and focus on the positive, even if it’s brief during this post.

My heart is still melting over the proposal. How surprised was I to find out that Rich had been all over town, back and forth from the Texas State Fair that day? I mean, the thought, the effort, the honest love he has for me — it’s humbling. This is the side of Rich that goes out of his way to be loving, romantic, and genuine. This is the heart of the man who makes me feel safe, secure, and loved at all times. What can I say? It was truly the best prize ever given out at the carnival, and I am blessed to be the lucky girl who received it.

Ugh, okay. Back to the nonsense.

Watching the girls have pre-tea drinks while talking about Kameron Westcott and D’Andra disturbed me a bit. Plenty of times, I have gone out of my way to show Brandi Redmond the ways in which she could relate to both of the girls, and yet, Cary stirs the pot between the “out-of-towners” and the “in-towners.” Keep in mind that Cary has declared her friendship with both Kam and D’Andra, yet she doesn’t seem to be doing anything to help build a friendship with them at all.

Now to the TEA spilled ‘round the world!

Oh, Lord help me. When Brandi brought the “Exact Pink Bag” to give Kam at the tea, it made me uneasy. All it does is take me back to the old Brandi, who plays games with people just enough that she can deny it, but enough to be effective in it. It’s called “plausible deniability,” and it’s her trademark move. I know it well, unfortunately. I think the pink bag was designed to upset Kam, to get a reaction out of her, and she accomplished that. I’m just not sure Brandi was ready for Kam’s fearless ability to respond so eloquently.

During the questions at the tea party, I was grateful that D’Andra asked Brandi about me “not being allowed” in her home. To hear it from Kameron at our girls night out was surprising, but then to see that it wasn’t a joke, but rather something Brandi claims to be real on national TV — well, that hurt worse. For it to then transition to her saying she wanted to talk to me one-on-one about it and not in a group setting is a little “tea too late,” considering everyone else has been talking about it since last week’s episode.

Regarding the conversation about our mutual friend, Jared: I was introduced to him through Brandi. So, why she is claiming that he is only my friend? It’s weird. I mean, the only reason I can think of as to why she’d lie is that Brandi feels tremendous guilt over how she’s treated me. Here’s the thing: when Brandi feels guilty, she lets the lies roll out of her mouth in order to discredit the other person. It’s yet another trademark move that I am going to take the high road on.

OKAY, OKAY. I am officially owning responsibility for the amount of alcohol I consumed at this tea. Can you blame me? (Okay, fine.) It’s just that I was not mentally ready to participate for two main reasons: exhaustion and emotional vulnerability. So I chose to drink, and the drinks kept comin’. Trust me, I know I should’ve slowed down.

At the beginning of this year, I chose to genuinely try to get to know Cary and work on developing some form of communication and respect. That quickly fell by the wayside as she continues to trash me in her confessionals. The truth is, she never really wanted to get to know me, and I know that now. Whether it’s her condescending tone or the “tit for tat” spats, it’s all beyond annoying and not a true representation of someone ready to form a friendship. I am literally the only one in this group to whom she speaks to that way (except for her husband, I guess).

Also, let me clear this up: Brandi is the one who brought up Cary’s husband in the first place, not me. So, why do I get all the attacks in Cary’s confessional? If Brandi was so up for "shutting it down”, then why is she doing the opposite and "bringing it up?” Come on, guys. Please see reason.

The lack of compassion Stephanie Hollman has towards my childhood never ceases to amaze me. She was supposedly a social worker, but I can’t imagine where she learned that lack of empathy. Was she this way with her clients?

Okay, by the way, I had no idea I had an “army of minions,” spreading “lies de jour” about Cary. I find it really funny, though, when we trace back where on earth Brandi got that nasty line about my doctor. Ahem! Ah, yes — Cary. My question is, why is it anyone else’s concern who my doctor is, what work I’m doing, or anything else? It’s not; it’s just another avenue of pettiness they are indulging in. But again, I’ll take the high road.

In the end, the big question is: was the tea successful?

Well, I have no clue! I Ubered home and passed out!"
