In addition to Glass Houses, her childhood serves as the inspiration for the upcoming series American Woman, which stars Alicia Silverstone and Mena Suvari. The show is set in the 1970s and follows a single mom Bonnie (Silverstone) and the challenges she faces in raising her two daughters after leaving her husband. She'll have the help of her two best friends, Kathleen (Mena) and Diana (Jennifer Bartels), as they all try to find their place in the world during this fabulously revolutionary decade. It's set to premiere in 2018.
