Pettifleur Berenger Says The Real Housewives Of Melbourne Are Scarier Than Hell’s Kitchen Australia’s Marco Pierre White!

Pettifleur Berenger is spilling all the tea about her new TV gig on Channel 7's Hell's Kitchen Australia. Even thought, chef  Marco Pierre White has been known to bring people to tears, including Gordon Ramsay, the Real Housewives of Melbourne alum says she wasn’t remotely intimidated by Marco's infamous bluster.

“I’d take on 10 Marcos over those seven ladies (on Housewives),” Berenger tells The Herald Sun with a laugh. “I wasn’t scared of him. What’s he going to do to me, seriously? I was completely unscathed by him.”

Berenger left the Housewives franchise after two seasons and admits that she was happy to go out on a high note.

“I have no regrets,” she said. “The women never really let me into their circle. I was always on the outer. You have to have a thick skin to be a Housewife.”

She is now exploring her opportunities in the U.S. after being invited to an international Housewives function hosted by RHONY alum Jill Zarin.

She added that the door was still open to return to the Melbourne Housewives one day.

Berenger is one of the 10 celebrities becoming sous-chefs to Pierre White in Seven’s new reality series, Hell’s Kitchen Australia.

She joins House Husbands’ Lincoln Lewis, Bachelorette Sam Frost and cricketing WAG Candice Warner in the TV kitchen.

Berenger was teamed with One Nation founder David Oldfield, husband of Real Housewives of Sydney star Lisa Oldfield, where she admits, the pair butted heads.

Berenger said Oldfield had made her uncomfortable from the get-go with complaints about his wife and the disrespectful way he spoke to his female co-stars.

“I talked back to him,” she laughed. “What can I say, I like to stir the pot.”
