Luann D’Agostino Announces She’s Divorcing Husband Tom D’Agostino After 7 Months Of Marriage!

Luann D'Agostino and Tom D'Agostino officially call it quits! The Real Housewives of New York City star announced on Twitter Thursday that they are ending their marriage after seven months of marriage. "It's with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce," she tweeted Thursday. "We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!"

The news comes two weeks after they made headlines over a public argument at a restaurant, after which Luann said the two are "good" and that "sometimes big love affairs...can be tumultuous."

Following the reports Luann addressed the rumors on Bravo's late night talk show Watch What Happens Live with  Andy Cohen. "Luann, elephant in the room. Massive story on Page Six this week," Andy told Luann. "They say your marriage to Tom is hanging by a thread and that you slapped him in a restaurant."

"Do they love Tom and I? Oh my god, that's so not right," Luann replied. "I did not slap him. We have a very passionate love affair going. We never go to bed angry but when we do, when we wake up, we make up," she added. "That's the best part."

Last weekend, Luann told E! News at co-star Jill Zarin's International Thyroid Oncology Group benefit, "You know what, everybody likes to talk about Tom. It's unbelievable. Don't let it be about Tom, but it's always about Tom! It's just funny because I never imagined that our relationship would be so magnified. So I'm just trying to deal with it and get past that and be happy and people are going to talk. You know we're here, we're traveling, we just got back from Newport so that was awesome."

Luann D'Agostino and her husband Tom shut down a new report this past week that he was spotted out with another woman in the Hamptons. Both Tom and Luann addressed the speculation in a statement.

“We are together in Sag [Harbor] and are happy. He went to meet mutual friends for drinks. There is no story there," Luann told Page Six (who also first reported the sighting) on Monday, with Tom adding, “Luann and I had a great weekend together in the Hamptons. We went to a dinner party together and I went out to meet our mutual friends for drinks after. Luann knew where I was and who I was with. There is no story here.”

Meanwhile, Tom's rep calls the gossip “total rubbish,” adding that Tom did go out and “he was with a group of friends, and there was no clandestine meeting with a blond woman. He wants to make his marriage work.”

The couple’s drama has been an ongoing storyline on the Bravo hit reality series. Earlier this season, costars Dorinda Medley, Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill told de Lesseps that there had been rumors of infidelity by Tom.

The former Countess previously forgave D'Agostino after he was spotted kissing another woman prior to their wedding during last season. Luann acknowledged the drama while live-tweeting the show’s season 8 finale in August, in which de Lesseps confronted her then-fiancé about the photos. "Finally #finale! Remember it was 6 months ago, Tom & I truly love each other,” she tweeted at the time. "We worked it through and are stronger than ever! #LoveWins xo."
