Kameron Westcott Says She’s “Super Honored” To Be Called The Real-Life Elle Woods!

Kameron Westcott is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's Season 2 premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Dallas. Kameron Westcott reveals the story behind her husband's nickname and explains why she's working on pink dog food.

Bravotv.com:Cary Deuber calls you the real-life Elle Woods and you wear your blonde with pride. Does it ever bother you when other people think you’re not as smart as you truly are?

Kameron Westcott: Elle Woods is the original girl boss, so I am super honored. Who doesn't want to be pink and fabulous and victorious against the haters and the doubters? My whole life people's first impressions of me have been that I am just a dumb blonde that only cares about shoes (Okay, they got me on the second one), so I am always having to prove to people to not judge a book by its cover - unless it's pink, of course.

Bravotv.com: What were your first impressions of the other ladies? And what did you think of that police report?

KW: I mean I am all for exfoliation, but still having nightmares about how bad sandpaper could mess up your complexion. But seriously, we live in the best country in the world and we are all innocent until proven guilty, so there has to be another side to that story. Over the season, I really got to know LeeAnne Locken better and I have no doubt she is innocent of those acquisitions.

Bravotv.com: Tell us about how you met your husband - and if he likes being called a hobbit?  

KM: He's pissed. It's not Hobbit, it's Uncle Hobbit. Court and I are always making jokes at each other. He calls my family the Giants, I am actually the shortest person in my family and his family the hobbits. He actually thinks he is a hobbit hero because as he says he tricked a Barbie to marry him.

Bravotv.com: What’s your take on the Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman break up – and LeeAnne answering for Brandi? Do you think the other ladies should get involved or stay out of it?

KM: I still can't stop laughing about LeeAnne saying "Um, I don't think she has her schedule with her." I mean, that's why I love LeeAnne, super loyal and protective. Regarding Brandi and Stephanie, I am actually really looking forward to watching the upcoming episodes because I still don't know all the details of the drama between them.

Bravotv.com: Tell us about your decision to create a dog food line. What was in the dog treat you ate on the show?

KW: Um hello, why would you want brown stink when you can have SPARKLY PINK?!!! I am obsessed with dogs and I just got tired of walking down the aisles and seeing dog food bags that were clearly designed by men and were so boring. My yorkie is super picky and I wanted to make sure he had food he loved so I went out to make the most fabu dog food ever and that is exactly what SparkleDog is. It's like Trix for dogs, its normal kibbles mixed with pink hearts, made with fresh chicken and is gluten free. Regarding the dog food I ate, I honestly have no idea what was in it, I just know it's not the only dog food I eat this season.
