Vicki Gunvalson Admits Her Daughter Briana Culberson Is Still “Struggling” With Her Health Following Lupus Diagnosis!

It was confirmed last season of The Real Housewives of Orange County that Vicki Gunvalson's daughter Briana Culberson was diagnosed with lupus after years of struggling with her health, during the Season 11 finale episode.

Even though Briana has a better understanding of her health issues these days, it has still led to other challenges for the mother of two, Vicki recently gave an update on her daughter's health. "Her struggle has been finding the right doctor. She'll find a doctor, and then that doctor says, basically, 'I can't do anything more for you, so find somebody else.' So she needs a rheumatologist, and she's been finding one out of UCLA," Gunvalson told The Daily Dish. "You know, it's been hard on her. She really has been struggling with it. So I'm just hopeful that she can continue the path of at least getting in remission or cure or whatever has to happen. But she's only 30, and she's just struggling with it."

"I've got a great daughter there. She's just a great, great girl, very opinionated, very strong," Vicki recently gushed about her daughter. "And she's definitely her mama's daughter."

Briana discussed her lupus diagnosis during last season's RHOC reunion. "It's better. I had a major surgery on my neck a couple months ago to remove more tumors and they figured out that I have lupus," she said. "They said that I still can possibly be very early lymphoma that's not detectable. So I have to be diligent but for now it's just lupus."

Luckily, Briana received some good news recently. Vicki shared last week that Briana's husband, Ryan Culberson, was on his way to moving out of Oklahoma to live with his family in California permanently. "That's been a journey for Briana and Ryan since he's been in the Marine Corps, and they went to Oklahoma and she came back to California without him," Vicki said. "She's really been missing her husband."
