Tinsley Mortimer Opens Up About Her Friendship With Sonja Morgan!

Things have been tense between Sonja Morgan and Tinsley Mortimer this season of The Real Housewives of New York City. Tinsley explained that her relationship dynamic with Sonja is more nuanced that when one caller asked if she felt like her roommate acted cold toward her because felt threatened during Wednesday night's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

"Sonja is, honestly, we're like sisters. She's not threatened by me," Tinsley said. "Sonja has her way of thinking that she's helping me. To me, it seems like a jabbing and nagging, sort of, like, older sister. But to her, she's actually thinking that she's helping me."

Tinsley went to say that she knew that Sonja was really just trying to help her. "I actually think she has really good intentions; I just don't think that in my situation at the time, what I was going through, I don't think she handled them the best way," she shared. "I was vulnerable, and I felt weaker."

The RHONY ladies' most recent beef this season stems from a Page Six report claiming that Tinsley has been an ungracious houseguest while living at Sonja's abode. Tinsley believes that Sonja had something to do with it and has pleaded for her to discredit the report. But Sonja has maintained that she had no part in the report and that she invited Tinsley to stay at her home in an effort to help her.

If you recall, their complicated friendship comes after Sonja was more than happy to give Tinsley a place to stay as she gets back on her feet in the Big Apple following her public arrest in Florida. The two have clashed over how they should each behave while living together, with Sonja putting certain rules in place for Tinsley to abide by in her Upper East Side townhouse and Tinsley feeling judged by Sonja on everything from how good of a roomie she is to her love life.
