Details Inside Vicki Gunvalson’s Scary Health Scare In Upcoming Iceland RHOC Cast Trip!

The Real Housewives of Orange County took a trip annual cast trip to Iceland during this season of the Bravo hit reality series and it's been revealed that Vicki Gunvalson had to be hospitalized in the Nordic country, and Lydia McLaughlin spilled the tea on what happened when she took her friend to the emergency room.

“Vicki goes to the hospital and she doesn’t want to go but 911 was called and they don’t mess around with that,” the mom-of-three told Radar Online. “And it is crazy,” she continued. “People are crying. We don’t know what happened. Is she going to get admitted? We spend the whole night — I end up accompanying her to the hospital.”

“I don’t know if you’ve ever been to an Icelandic hospital, the ER in the middle of the night, but it is not something you want to do,” she continued. “So it wasn’t the greatest experience of my life.”

But of course, Gunvalson, ended up being okay. “Vicki is walking and she’s talking so we know that it’s a happy ending to the story,” McLaughhlin said. “Vicki always kids that for her to leave the show you’ll have to kill her off!”

McLaughlin also teased that Meghan King Edmonds brought her daughter Aspen for the trip as well, saying: “It’s a girls trip! Why wouldn’t you want to bring your little girl?”

Meanwhile, Gunvalson shared some details about her hospitalization in the upcoming trip. “I don't remember a lot of it,” Vicki shared during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. “The ambulance with the person laying on the stretcher with the white robe over her head [seen in the Season 12 trailer] was me … I’m not saying anything else.”

“[This time], they all asked me, do you want us to go to the hospital with you or what do you want us to do?” she recalls. “I said, 'Stay back and whoop it up!' and I think they did. I was like, 'I don't need to go to the hospital! I'm good!'” she adds. “And they were like, 'You're not good. We're taking you to the hospital.'”

This is the second season in a row that Vicki has been hospitalized while filming. During season 11, the 55-year-old was airlifted out of Glamis, California, after an ATV she was riding in flipped over. She wound up in a neckbrace, and it became a point of contention between Vicki and her co-stars after no one came to see her in the hospital.
