Rica, Famosa, Latina is returning for a fifth season as firming is currently underway. However, the Spanish hit reality series, which was created by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Joyce Giraud for Estrella TV will be getting a cast shake-up for the new upcoming season.

The popular US latin reality series, which is inspired by The Real Housewives franchise will be getting some new blood for Season 5. Spanish publication, La Opinion reports that Geraldine Bazán, Mimí Lazo and Scarlet Ortiz will be joining the show along with returning cast members Luzelba Mansour, Niurka Marcos and Sandra Vidal.

Unfortunately, Sissi Fleitas and Mayeli Rivera won't be returning to the show as both have decided to focus on other projects.

Fleitas announced weeks ago that she exited the show after contract negotiations fell through. "I will not be on the show," she wrote in an Instagram post with fellow cast mates Luzelba Mansour and Sandra Vidal. "We didn't reach an agreement and there are new things in my personal and professional life that now occupy my time. I know that the new casting is coming along great and that they will be able to entertain all of you at the level of production that characterizes 'Rica Famosa Latina.'"

Meanwhile, Mayeli Rivera, wife of Lupillo Rivera will also not be returning. Rivera will be starring on her own reality show along with her husband on Univision Network, which is set to premiere later this year.

Victoria del Rosal has made it very clear on social media that she is not returning to the show, hopefully she has a change of heart and it's unknown at this time if Andrea Garcia will be returning or making any appearances to the show's upcoming fifth season.

Bazán, who is married to "Vino el Amor" actor Gabriel Soto has been posting photos of herself along with Niurka shooting scenes in Cuba earlier this month, reports Latin Times.

In case you were living under a rock, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Joyce Giraud along with her husband Michael Ohoven created the Spanish hit reality show after exiting the Bravo hit show.

As you noticed, the show is inspired by the Real Housewives franchise - the only difference is that the show is in Spanish and the show airs weeknights (Monday through Thursdays), making each season over 30 episodes.

Giraud doesn't appear on the show - she and her hubby are the creators and her hubby is the executive producer of the successful hit reality series. Rica, Famosa, Latina translates to Rich, Famous, Latina!

The show focuses on the lives of successful and famous Latin women living in Los Angeles, where the glamour and the drama collide. Think RHOBH meets RHOM.
