Ester Dee has confirmed she has split from "fiancee" Rob Lloyd after her complicated love life was revealed on the current season of The Real Housewives of Cheshire. Dee shocked her co-stars on the fifth series of the ITVBe hit reality show when she revealed that she was married to one man, while also being engaged to property developer Rob, who she had initially appeared with in the show.
Cheshire-based Rob, who many recognized from his appearance on Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire, is the father of Ester’s toddler daughter Bertie.
Ester made the announcement of her split from Lloyd during Tuesday night's special episode of “At Home with The Real Housewives of Cheshire.” She revealed to host Brian Dowling that while she has split from Rob, she says she's on a "trial period" back with her 61-year-old husband, who has not featured in the show, reports Manchester Evening News.
Brian grilled her on her complex personal arrangements, asking her about the fact she was engaged to Rob, while married to another man.
“I made the perfect man from two men,” said Ester.
But when asked what the situation is NOW with the two men Ester said: “Rob is the father of my baby, he’s going to look after her as a father, but me and Rob won’t see each other as partners anymore.”
When asked about her husband, Ester confirmed: “He is still part of my life, we are on a trial period.”
Brian said: “So you’re not single? You’re not looking for anyone else?
She laughed and said: “No”.
For those labelling her a “golddigger” for her actions, Ester had this to say: “I’m a woman of ambition and I do want it all.”
When Brian asked her why she didn’t just work for herself for the things she wanted she replied: “I’ve been working as a lapdancer, personal trainer and I was working in a hotel. I have been doing a lot of things to buy my first shoes, buy my first the handbag, but why not use your charm, use the things you have been given from mother nature that you can twist and twirl, bounce and bounce? Those two boys had a lot of pleasure out of me. But equally nothing comes for free. If you have pleasure, so should I, I want to go to Paris and have a handbag."
