Luann D’Agostino is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. Luann D'Agostino backs up her decision not to invite Ramona Singer to her wedding.
Luann writes:
"When Tom asked me to marry him, one of my first decisions after saying “yes” was to choose a designer to make my wedding dress. I’ve been friends with Randi Rahm for years and have worn her designs to many events, so I knew that she would collaborate with me to create a beautiful and elegant wedding dress…and she did! I was so happy that my bridesmaids could be with me for the dress reveal, and I was thrilled that Dorinda loved her bridesmaid’s dress. Each bridesmaid will be in a different shade of pink and will wear a dress designed specifically for her. Randi’s creating two more dresses for me to wear as well that weekend, which I’m sure will be just as fabulous as my wedding dress.
If you were me, would you invite Ramona to your wedding? If you said “no way,” then you can understand why she didn’t get invited to mine! What if your friend said to you that she wanted to be invited yet had no intention of actually attending your wedding? Confused? Me too. When Ramona blurted out that mutual friends were placing bets on if we would make it down the aisle, I’d had enough of her shenanigans and explained to her that this is exactly why she wasn’t on the guest list. I don’t want any drama at my wedding, and including Ramona would be risky. She might be calm and happy or she could decide to let her freak flag fly. You just never know, and I’m not willing to take a chance on one of the most important days of my life.
I was really touched by Dorinda’s daughter’s tribute to her late stepfather Richard at his gravesite. Hannah finished her memorial by saying, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” I couldn’t agree more!
