Former RHONJ Star Kathy Wakile Is Opening Up A Restaurant!

Kathy Wakile may no longer be on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, however the former reality star is keeping busy as she's about to open her own restaurant. “It’s something I’ve been wanting for such a long time,” she told Page Six of her upcoming venture.

“I’ve talked about it in the past but the timing wasn’t right, [and] now I have the time to devote to it.”

The Bergen County, NJ, eatery dubbed “Pizza Love,” is slated to open in June and will be run by Wakile along with her husband Richie Wakile and two friends who have restaurant business experience.

“It’ll be a great joint effort,” she said. The menu will consist of pizza, Mediterranean fare and desserts — her specialty.

“Cannolis will be on the menu for sure,” the mom of two said — who released a dessert recipe book, “Indulge,” in September 2014 — and ensured that her recipes along with artisanal Italian favorites, such as homemade gelato, will be offered.

“I’ll be changing it up depending on the season. That’s how I like to cook; depending on the season and what people are looking for,” she explained.

She previously hinted to the publication back in April that her upcoming business venture was going to be culinary related and “drama free.”

“It’ll be a family restaurant,” she said.

Wakile remained mum on cousin Teresa Guidice, who will be spending her first Mother’s Day since the loss of her mother and without husband Joe Giudice, who is currently serving a jail sentence.

“I imagine she’d be focusing on her children and being a mother herself,” she said.
