Dina Manzo’s Daughter Lexi Ioannou Comes To Her Defense After Former RHONJ Co-Star Jim Marchese Comments On Her Violent Home Invasion!

Dina Manzo‘s daughter Lexi Ioannou is coming to her mother’s defense after the violent home invasion left her beaten and bound on Saturday. Ioannou, stood up to her mom’s former Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Jim Marchese, who claimed that Manzo and her millionaire boyfriend David Cantin were attacked because “nothing good ever comes of out RHONJ” and “in the end the devil comes for his dues.”

“You are a filthy human being,” Ioannou fired back at Marchese, who left the series with wife Amber in 2015. “Grow a heart and have some compassion. Keep your arrogance to yourself.”

Marchese’s wife stepped in back up her outspoken husband in the Twitter war.

“Lexi, Jim was referring to RHONJ being EVIL in [an] original tweet. A better approach [would] have been [to] ask meaning before viciously attacking him,” she said.

As previously reported ,the robbery occurred on Saturday, May 13 around 11 p.m. after Dina and her boyfriend, David Cantin, celebrated Teresa Giudice's daughter Audriana Giudice's First Communion, PEOPLE previously reported.

The couple found two assailants inside the townhouse they share in Holmdel, who then reportedly rushed them as they open the door. One hit David with several times with a baseball bat, while the other punched Dina "multiple times" in the face, according to a release from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, as reported by PEOPLE.

Dina and David were then tied up, and the suspects took cash and jewelry. “Dina and David are obviously shaken up from the traumatic and violent home invasion and robbery,” the couple's attorney, Andrew B. Brettler, said in a statement to PEOPLE. “No one should ever have to go through what they did. They are grateful to law enforcement and the other emergency responders and appreciate everyone’s concern and well-wishes.”
