Dawn Ward Has Been Refused A Licence To Host Her Star-Studded Charity Ball!

It's hasn't been an easy year for Dawn Ward. Not only is she dealing with major drama with her former bestie Leanne Brown on the current season of The Real Housewives of Cheshire, but she's been refused a licence to host her glittering annual charity ball because her neighbors think it’s too noisy.

Ward has been hosting her very own The Crème de la Crème Ball for years but the Licensing Act Sub-Committee at Cheshire East Council, has decided against the granting of a temporary event notice to enable the sale of alcohol and entertainment - including live music, live singers and a DJ - between the hours of 7pm and 2am for the eighth charity event due to take place at Great Warford on Saturday September 23.

Cheshire East Council enforcement officer Brenda Lomas raised an objection on behalf of the Environmental Health Service on the grounds of noise disturbance caused to nearby residents, reports Manchester Evening News.

The Great Warford Action Group also wrote to to express their opposition to the granting of a temporary event notice saying residents have been inconvenienced by noise and disturbance for many years.

Guests at last year’s glitzy event included Coronation Street favourite Simon Gregson, Hollyoaks stars Stephanie Waring and Ross Adams, former glamour model Danielle Lloyd, celebrity life coaches The Speakmans, former Shameless actress Tina Malone and Dawn’s co-stars Lauren Simon, Missé Beqiri, Leanne Brown, Stacey Forsey and Tanya Bardsley.

The Midas Touch theme raised funds for the Caudwell Children charity, with thousands of pounds going straight to local children in need. Nineties soul queen Gabrielle did a star turn at the sparkling bash attracting famous faces from the world of TV, sport and entertainment.

Last month Dawn and her husband Ashley lost their appeal against Cheshire East Council’s refusal to grant them planning permission to create a conference and wedding venue for up to 130 people at their home.
