Melissa Tkautz Weighs In On All The RHOS Drama In Singapore!

Melissa Tkautz is taking to her Arena Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Sydney. Melissa Tkautz shares her thoughts on all the drama that took place in Singapore.

Melissa writes:

"Wow! What a way to start to our getaway! Somebody fetch me a Singapore sling!

With everything that’s happened between the girls I thought we could all use a fresh start and what’s better than an international holiday? Singapore seemed like the perfect place to escape from our troubles in Sydney and rise above everything that’s happened. A place where we could relax, bond and put all the drama behind us….. boy, was I wrong!

Upon boarding the flight everybody was truly excited, after all we were visiting one of the most beautiful places on earth! After a drama free flight we landed in Singapore as a united group and I remember having high hopes for an harmonious overseas getaway.

Let me start by saying the Intercontinental Hotel was incredible, such a beautiful and glamourous place! The service was definitely second to none! Located in the heart of the city, we were so close to all the Singapore hotspots, like Marina Bay, the business district, and all the art galleries. With so much to see and do we really got to experience much of the vibrant culture in Singapore – I fell in love with Singapores charm immediately!

I’m so happy that Victoria will be meeting her sister for the first time, I can’t imagine what she must be going through. As I’m a big believer in the importance of family, I’m so happy for her! Your family are always your number one supporters and any opportunity to get closer is always a big deal.

With all our busy lives, occasionally mixing business and pleasure is a necessity these days and it’s something that I love to do! The highlight of my week was definitely being part of Daniel Boyd’s memory book, it was such an incredible honour and privilege! He’s such an amazing and respected artist, whose work I simply adore! The photo shoot itself was so unique and very different, like nothing I’ve ever done before and I’m so grateful that the lovely Nicole came with me for support.

Although it had been a very positive day the best of the worst was still to come. Introducing….. our first night out! Yes, you guessed it, it was absolutely hideous! I can’t believe everything escalated so quickly on our first night away. Arriving at the venue for our first night out we realised immediately that we could not have picked another restaurant/bar with a better view – it was nothing short of spectacular! With the exception of Lisa who never made it due to a dodgy scallop we arrive as a group all smiles and ready for a great night …..Little did I know all this was a bout to change!

It was utter chaos with napkins and drinks flying everywhere! This was definitely not the way I wanted us to start this holiday. Coming into this week I was hoping all the tensions would be sorted out and this would be a great opportunity to start over and have some fun together but if this is how our first night has turned out, I truly wasn’t sure what was going to happen next! There had been so much drama leading up to the trip and this was the last thing anyone needed. I think everyone is a little on edge and already feels like the first night has ruined it for everyone. If I’d known what would happen that night, I would have just stayed in my hotel room, with my robe, slippers, some amazing room service and a good movie!"
