Kathy Wakile Talks “Drama Free” Life After RHONJ And Reveals If She’s Been In Contact With Teresa Giudice!

Kathy Wakile will not be returning to the upcoming eighth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, however the mother-of-two reveals that her her next venture will be “drama free.” “The show was a fun chapter and now I’m ready to turn the page and do things that are really close to my heart,” she told Page Six.

“I’m lucky to be involved in the culinary world — it’s my passion — and I’m working on projects that involve that so I’m excited,” she added.

“No catfights involved,” her husband, Richie Wakile added.

Kathy says that while the experience was positive for her family, others haven’t been so lucky.

“I’ve seen the mess that has happened to other families, but thank God we’re very solid and we are who we are,” she said. “I think that when you always speak the truth, you can’t get hurt.”

Wakile acknowledged that she and her cousin, who is her former co-star aren’t regularly in touch.

“I don’t really get too, too involved, but I know they’re doing well and I’ve seen them recently during the time of loss,” she said, referencing the death of  Teresa’s mother, Antonia, last month.

“We’re a strong family, so I think everybody will get through this just fine,” she said.

Earlier this week, Jacqueline Laurita confirmed her departure from the Bravo hit reality series.
