“Nadine wanted to be on the telly and thinks Dawn should have put in a good word for her and done more to make that happen,” a source told The Sun. “They have known each other for years. Nadine feels she’d be a good character on the show. She’s been through a lot. She nearly died in a car crash, was Fergie’s daughter-in-law and was a WAG.
“But when they started talking about it they got really heated. Dawn wasn’t best pleased that she was putting all the blame on her” the source continued. “Neither of them are shrinking violets, they’re very strong women who are VERY straight talking!
“Most people wouldn’t get so vocal about it all, but Dawn is just like she is on the TV and doesn’t mince her words,” the source added.. “At one point it looked like a mobile phone was thrown. Minutes later Dawn stomped off. It was just handbags but if they had been on the football pitch they would have been shown a red card.”
Nadine, who divorced Fergie’s son and Doncaster Rovers manager Darren in 2007, was involved in a horrific car crash on the school run in 2009. The collison left their son Charlie in a coma and Nadine facing having a leg amputated. Fortunately, they both eventually pulled through, reports the publication.
When asked about the so-called feud, Ward denied reports of a fight with Ferguson, admitting that there's no beef between the two and revealing that they are good friends, despite recent reports.
“Nadine is a really good friend,” said Dawn. “In fact she texted me this morning. Unfortunately people in Cheshire like to gossip and come up with titbits. I have known Nadine for a long time and we are fine. I don’t really want to go into it.”
Ward and Ferguson may not be feuding, however on the ITVBe hit reality show, Dawn and former bestie Leanne Brown are involved in a heated feud over a loan.
As previously reported, Leanne and her husband, Blackburn Rovers defender Wes loaned the Wards £500,000 four years ago which they claim has not been repaid. Lawyers have been called in and the Browns have sent their former friends a letter threatening legal action.
Leanne has said she is “devastated” over the fall-out. Meanwhile, Dawn did not go on a trip to Dubai with Leanne and other RHOCheshire stars, and insiders say filming of the latest series has been a “nightmare” because they “refuse” to work together.
