Charrisse Jackson Jordan: “Monica Is Probably A Nice Woman And I Should Not Have Compared Her To Gizelle”

Charrisse Jackson Jordan is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Charrisse Jackson Jordan shuts down Gizelle Bryant's apology, and explains why her comments were not fair to Monica Lewinsky. Check it out!

Bravotv.com: What did you really think of the Casino Royale night – and those singers? (Love that red look, by the way!) Do you still talk to Katie?

Charrisse Jackson Jordan: I have to admit, I was expecting a lot more when entering Casino Royale, being it was the baby of my friend Katie the ball and gala girl. However, Cha-cha has a great time regardless of any situation. I had a fun time learning how to play blackjack thanks to Chris and Monique, and enjoyed toasting it up with friends that I hadn’t seen in a while. Keeping in mind that the fundraiser was benefiting Imagination Stage, an arts program for youth, I loved the performance that the kids entertained us with. For the most part, those that were complaining didn’t offer a dime to the cause for the evening. If my memory serves me right, I don’t think anyone has executed a fundraiser that surpassed Casino Royale. It’s is easy to throw shade at someone else's efforts, but for those that have so much to say…what events have you done? I haven’t spoken to Katie other than a few text messages here and there and a couple of encounters at events, but I often think of her and pray that all is well with her and her beautiful kids. I am sure I will run into her again at one of the major charitable-based events.

Bravotv.com: What do you think of all the ladies’ impressions of your pal Monique? Do you think Gizelle was throwing shade?

CJJ: I was expecting the ladies to be a bit reserved with Monique, but I was a little taken aback by the lack of warmth given. Why are folks acting as though we are some secret society and folks have to pass a certain requirement to even break bread with us? I knew Gizelle wasn’t going to care for her, because she has the lifestyle that can be quite intimidating for Gizelle. As expected, Let The GGB Shade Begin...

Bravotv.com: Tell us about that barre class. Did you think it would be so hard?

CJJ: OMG! The barre class isn’t what I expected. Actually, I don’t know what I was expecting but this wasn’t close. Honestly speaking, I am by far the tightest person in the world and that served as a problem upon entry. But I will try anything once. I have no desire to return. I need music when I work out. Had they incorporated the same moves with music maybe my mind could've handled it better. As the saying goes... Everything Ain’t For Everybody.

Bravotv.com: On to the tea, what were you thinking when Gizelle apologized? Do you regret the Lewinsky comment?

CJJ: There are two types of apologies, one where you sincerely feel bad about your actions and you apologize, and then there’s the apology that comes as a form to move on though you really don’t take ownership of any wrong doing. Being that Gizelle is Queen of not taking ownership of her actions, I honestly didn’t find her apology as sincere. In my heart I feel that she has a clinical form of narcissism. She can’t see outside of herself. Unfortunately, she doesn’t care who she hurts in the process because she is so desperate for attention. I find people like Gizelle quite sad and I truly feel sorry for her. Note to self….add Gizelle to prayer list.

Looking back at the Lewinsky comment, I do regret saying that. That was truly a low blow and I should not have allowed my anger to stoop to that level. I REALLY wish I hadn’t said that. Monica is probably a nice woman and I should not have compared her to Gizelle.

Bravotv.com: What do you think about Karen bringing up what Robyn said at your house?

CJJ: Karen bringing up her conversation with Robyn and turning into Robyn having two faces is absurd. Robyn has the right to disagree with the actions of her friend when the friend is clearly wrong. A true friend tells you when your wrong and Robyn did just that. Gizelle asking her to take sides was very childish. Why Robyn was placed in the middle never made sense to me. I’m with Juan...Let the grown women handle their business. I would never ask my friends to pick a side.
