Kordell Stewart Wins $3 Million In Defamation Case Against Andrew Caldwell Over Gay Affair Allegations!

A DeKalb County Superior Court judge rewarded Porsha Williams' ex-husband Kordell Stewart $3 million in a defamation case where viral video star Andrew Caldwell claimed to have a gay relationship with the former NFL pro.

Back in October 2015, Caldwell went on TheShakeUp Show and claimed he had "hooked up with Stewart in the past" - while Stewart was married to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams. Caldwell also claimed he'd dated Stewart and that the former pro football player had bought him expensive gifts.

Stewart denied the allegations and in his suit stated, "at all times during his life, Mr. Stewart has been, and is, a heterosexual male."

The lawsuit, which was filed in Georgia last month, called the allegations, "false and defamatory."

While Caldwell apologized and retracted his statements, Stewart maintained that the claims damaged his career, image and hurt his family. He was suing for loss of earnings, emotional distress and impairment to his reputation.

According to court documents obtained by The Daily Mail, Stewart was demanding a whopping $4.5 million in damages.

He explains the allegations of 'homosexual relations' were made when he was married to Williams and were made in an attempt to harm his marriage. He also claims that his then 9-year-old son, Syre, was bullied because of the rumors.

Stewart won a default judgment against Caldwell, who didn’t bother to show up to court, reports AJC.com.

Stewart said he will be filing other actions as well targeting others.

The $3 million is split between $1.5 million for general damages and $1.5 million in punitive damages.
