Gina Liano Gives An Update On Her Spin-Off Show ‘Judge Gina’; Says Courtroom Show “Is Still In The Cards”

Last year Gina Liano filmed a pilot for a Judge-Judy inspired courtroom show, while no recent news about the potential spin-off has been released, The Real Housewives of Melbourne star hasn't given up on the show and revealed that the show is still very much in the works.

"It's definitely still on the cards," she told The Daily Telegraphthe of the show, which the newspaper reported was shelved by Foxtel "several years ago."

"We might know more in April," she continued. "It comes down to budget at the end of the day."

The glamours barrister claimed the concept is being "shopped around globally."

Aside from her work in reality television, last year Gina revealed to the Herald Sun she was also considering a career in politics.

She told the publication she would be more than qualified for the job, with her extensive experience in law and public profile.

"I suppose there are not a lot of people who have a public profile, who have entertained, who have that qualification and have the experience I have in child protection and prosecuting for the last 17 years now," she said.

Since joining the Foxtel hit reality series in 2014, Liano turned herself into a successful entrepreneur. She currently has her own jewelry line exclusively with TV Shopping Network, and is currently working on a vitamin-infused skincare line that she's developing with an oncologist in Los Angeles.

The fashionista has penned a best-selling autobiography called Fearless as well as her own line of bedazzled pumps and heels - which sell for a pricey $440 a pair on her official website, including a line of blinged-out clutches for $360-a-piece as well as her own jewelry range.

Liano has launched two fragrance, one in 2015 called Gina by Gina Lino for Chesmist Warehouse and last year she released her second fragrance called Fearless by Gina Liano for Chesmist Warehouse. She also landed the cover of the May Issue of Maxim Australia last year.

Her television and acting credits also have blossomed, including stints on long-running soap Neighbours and The Celebrity Apprentice Australia.

The mother-of-two made her theater debut last year as the Wicked Stepmother in the pantomime adaptation of Cinderella at The State Theatre in Sydney.

The fourth season of The Real Housewives of Melbourne is set to start filming at the end of April.
