Tom Schwartz Reveals The Real Reason He And Katie Maloney-Schwartz Got A Prenup!

This season on Vanderpump Rules, Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney-Schwartz have been busy getting ready for their wedding which includes practical activities like signing a prenuptial agreement. As viewers saw the couple go over their assets with an attorney, let's just say they didn't seem to have much to sort out.

So during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, a viewer asked why Tom and Katie thought they needed to get a prenup in the first place. "Nobody is taking Schwartz's Ninja Turtles," Schwartz's fellow WWHL guest Tom Sandoval joked, which made Schwartz playfully say in defense, "They're collector's items, and I don't like the way she ogles them."



Then Schwartz revealed the real reason he and Katie went through with the prenup. "I just felt like it was the responsible thing to do," he explained. "I feel like everyone should get a prenup, no?"

Still, there's no need to worry that Tom and Katie will need to break out their prenup anytime soon. "I have to say from the bottom of my heart it's been blissful," Schwartz said of married life. "She's an amazing wife."

Schwartz admitted that Katie has had tequila since the two tied the knot, but he hasn't seen any of "Tequila Katie." "I think she's got it under control," Schwartz said. "But really, she's shown restraint. She's reformed. She's come a long way. She's self-aware now, and her inner light is shining. The darkness has gone light."
