Phaedra Parks: “It Was Painful And Embarrassing To Watch The Exchange Between Kandi And Porsha”

Phaedra Parks is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Phaedra Parks talks about her divorce, Porsha's new home, and the Porsha-Kandi battle. Check it out!

Bravotv.com: How did it feel when your lawyer told you the divorce was final?

Phaedra Parks: I had mixed emotions, as no one ever marries with the anticipation of getting a divorce. While I was relieved that the divorce proceedings were finally over, I also felt sad for our sons. Boys need strong male role models, and fathers are usually their son's first superhero. I am hopeful that my former husband and I can work together to make sure we always do what is in the best interest of our children.  

Bravotv.com: What did you think of Porsha's new home?


PP: Porsha's palace is exquisite. I am so proud of my Frick! When we met, she was a shy and somewhat timid conventional housewife. Through the years, I have watched her weather a public divorce and turn obstacles into opportunities! Her home is almost as beautiful as she is.

Bravotv.com: What went through your mind watching Kandi and Porsha's lunch?


PP: It was painful and embarrassing to watch the exchange between Kandi and Porsha. It was reminiscent of my sit down with Kandi minus the blazing and continuous vulgarities. I know Porsha went to the meeting anticipating a peaceful resolution. While it is always aspirational to think people want resolution, many times unbridled anger and the desire to always win at any cost prevents peace from prevailing.
