The series premiere of the The Real Housewives of Sydney is due to air next week on Foxtel. Apparently, Lisa Oldfield's husband David is reportedly not impressed by what he's seen in the pre-released episodes of the upcoming series.
"He's very unhappy, to the point where we aren't talking at the moment," the 41-year-old housewife told OK! Magazine Australia.
Lisa claims that her former politician husband is displeased towards his portrayal on the Foxtel hit reality show from watching a first three episodes of the first season.
"He feels he's been marginalised and emasculated," the businesswoman added.
Lisa admitted the married couple of 16 years had already been struggling through a rough patch: "The show magnified it, but it had been festering for a while."
In a promotional clip released two weeks ago (seen below), the controversial housewife is seen lashing out in explicit language at her politician husband for interrupting her camera time.
She was seen yelling without hesitation: "Oh f****** shut up, you c***!" to partner David in the background off-screen.
"He can be a pain in the a** at times, but so can I," she then said of David, who formed the One Nation political party in 1997.
The mother-of-two hinted her time on the show may be short-lived as David has expressed his strong feelings towards wanting her to quit involvement with the series, reports The Daily Mail.
The first season of The Real Housewives of Sydney premieres on Sunday, February 26 at 8:30pm on Arena In Australia and on Tuesday, February 28 at 8:30pm on Bravo NZ in New Zealand. For International TV Listings, click here!
