During a "Hit Reply" segment of the daytime talks show, Kandi responded to a hater throwing shade via Facebook. The fan called Kandi “rude” and accused her of doing “anything for a paycheck“ and using Phaedra’s name for a storyline.
The Grammy winner clapped back, saying she earns multiple paychecks so she doesn’t need to do anything out-of-character for money. She then went on to say Phaedra is the real one in need of a storyline this season.
“As far as me using Phaedra for a storyline, what’s her storyline? If it wasn’t for the stuff that’s going on between me, her and my family…what is her storyline?
She continued: “I don’t see a boyfriend, I don’t see any work getting done, I don’t see nothing.”
The 40-year-old mother of two went on to say Phaedra is barely a cast member anymore.
“I saw one charity event, but other than that, she’s like a friend of the show at this point.”
