On the R&B-influenced track, Riley sings about forgiving someone after they've hurt you. "I built up a brick wall. It'll be hard to tear down. Better late than never is what they say. So I guess I forgive you, even though you missed my birthday," she sings on the song, which officially drops Sunday. "I'm forgiving you even though you hurt me. I'm forgiving you, but you don't deserve it."
Following Sunday's episode of RHOA, Burruss took to Instagram to share with fans about her daughter's accomplishment. "This episode is a hot mess but this part about @rileyburruss Expressing herself was very emotional. She was nervous while the cameras were there but she finished the song & killed it! Get #BetterLateThanNever Now on ITunes, Google Play, Etc!"
Upon hours of the song's release, Riley's song made it to #29 on the iTunes chart. #MAZEL
As fans saw this season on RHOA, Riley's dad, Russell "Block" Spencer, has been trying to reconnect with his daughter after a period of estrangement, and they have been spending more time together recently. Kandi shared with The Daily Dish earlier this season that she wouldn't stand between Riley and Block having a relationship. "At the end of the day he is her father, and if he chooses that he wants to make another attempt that he wants to be in her life, of course, we have to have that conversation," she said.
"Better Late Than Ever" is now available on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play
