Patridge would bring a lot to the series, which is currently undergoing some major casting changes. Not only does she bring reality TV experience to the series, but she would also be a good match against the OG of the OC, Vicki Gunvalson.
“Vicki is intimidated by younger women, and she’ll start trouble with Audrina – exactly what the producer’s want!” the source explained.
Ten years after appearing on MTV The Hills, Patridge wed her longtime beau, Corey Bohan, in November and gave birth to their daughter Kirra in June. The new mom recently relocated from Los Angeles to her hometown in Orange County, California, and says she’d be more inclined to join the Orange County franchise than Beverly Hills
So would Audrina ever join RHOC?
“I just feel like they’re so much older than me! I feel like they'd eat me alive, I'm scared!” Audrina previously told Entertainment Tonight.
After being reminded that RHOC star Meghan King Edmonds is nearly the same age as her (Audrina is 31, Meghan is 32), the Prey Swim designer revealed they’re actually pals! Not only have they vacationed together, but Audrina also said she gave Meghan advice, prior to her Real Housewives debut.
“I actually know Meghan. We have mutual friends and we all went to the lake together and at the time it was right before she went on the show and I was giving her advice,” Patridge shared during an interview with ET. “But I had no idea she was going on the Real Housewives.”
Despite the brunette beauty’s hesitation about possibly joining the dramatic cast, one thing is for sure: she’s confident she could handle the chaos.
“I have the experience, and I would be like, ‘OK, you guys are trying to do this to me right now, so I'm not sorry, I'm not doing it!’”
Audrina maintains she’s a bit intimidated by all the drama. “I’m not opposed to it but I'm not going to lie, I'd be afraid! It's really intense, it's crazier than The Hills! I don't know if I could take that.”
If Patridge joins the show, she’ll be joining Vicki Gunvalson, Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge and Lydia McLaughlin, who is returning to the show after a three year hiatus.
Both Heather Dubrow and Meghan King Edmonds are not returning, and Kelly Dodd's future is still unknown. However an official cast list has not been released.
Seems like Meghan King Edmonds approves the rumors and wants her to join the show, as seen on a tweet back in December.

Patridge has not confirmed the rumors about her involvement with RHOC.
