Scheana Shay Defends Her Vanderpump Rules Co-Stars Against Lala Kent Drama!

Scheana Shay, Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, and Kristen Doute are back to being a tight foursome on this season of Vanderpump Rules. While the ladies questioned Scheana's allegiance when she apologized to Lala Kent,

Thought many viewers saw that the ladies insistence that Scheana not talk to the SUR hostess as bullying,  the new divorcée doesn't agree. "I don't see it as my friends bullying me," she told The Daily Dish. "Although Lala may not have done something super terrible to me, she's done terrible things and said terrible things about some of my best friends. So as much as I may be able to get over that easier, it still doesn't sit well with me. So I understand where their concern comes from."

In fact, she said her apology to Lala during that mediation meeting with Katie and Ariana Madix and the subsequent fallout were just one big misunderstanding. "For myself, I just felt like, 'Look, if I've been saying things about you that aren't true, I'm gonna apologize,'" she explained. "But everything we said about [Lala] was really true, so I thought I was being witty with it, they didn't, and we've moved past that."

Still, Scheana has expressed that she sometimes feels like the odd woman out in this group. "I think in the beginning of the summer, I did feel like it was more three against one because they were all so close, and I'm used to having that go-to person in a group, which was normally Ariana, but her and I had not been as close since last summer," Scheana said. "I get very sensitive, I get my feelings hurt very easily, and I get left out often. I think a lot of that I create in my own head, but I know it's not like that. It tends to feel that way at times, but they've always reassured me it's not like that."

And when something like her divorce from Mike Shay happened, Scheana knew that she could count on Stassi, Katie, and Kristen to be there for her. "With my friends, I mean, as you've seen for the last five years, it's always very up and down, but they're such a strong support system for me, and we always find our way back to each other," she shared. "They really have been here for me through the last two months that I've been going through the divorce and all that. And that's when you really know who your friends are. It's like, who's there for you when you really need them?"

Scheana and her friends are just going through what any social circle experiences. "You can bicker about stupid things all day long, but at the end of the day, we all love each other, and you're just seeing what real people go through. I'm sure a lot of our viewers can relate in their friendships," Scheana said. "I love them. My friends, they're great to me, we have our differences, but at the end of the day, we love each other and we just want the best for one another."
