Tom Schwartz Gives An Update On Mike Shay Amid Divorce News!

Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz is giving an update on how Mike Shay is doing these days following the recent divorce news. Mike Shay has been "off doing his own thing." Schwartz revealed to The Daily Dish that "it seems like Shay's doing well."

Last week, Scheana and Shay confirmed that they are splitting after two years of marriage. Tom notes, that he thinks "they're going to be just fine."

Shortly after annoucing the news, Scheana has pledged that she and Mike "will always remain friends" — still, Katie Maloney-Schwartz thinks it might be a little while before they get to that place. "I think it takes time to get used to not being [together]," she said. "Just like in any breakup, not necessarily that there's bitterness, but it just takes some time to sort of adapt to the new way things are. I mean, I can't imagine — they've been together as long as me and Tom have."

The couple also appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Monday where Tom added that the split news "came out of nowhere." He further explained that "we were blindsided. You never know what's going on behind closed doors. they seemed happy from outward appearances."

Katie added, "We all thought they would be together forever."

Scheana and Shay's 2014 wedding ceremony was captured in Season 3 of Vanderpump Rules. The series has followed the highs and lows of their relationship, from their engagement to dealing with Mike's substance abuse issues last season.
