Stassi Schroeder Talks Being Single After Patrick Meagher Split!

This season on Vanderpump Rules, we saw the return of newly single Stassi Schroeder, who officially split from boyfriend of two years Patrick Meagher in July. The  28-year-old reality star reveals she’s still reeling from the painful breakup.

“I have quite a few breakdowns,” Stassi revealed during a recent sit-down interview with Entertainment Tonight. Even though she says we’ll never see Patrick on screen, the fashion blogger insisted, “Because he wasn't there to film with me, I feel like I had to really express myself even more so that people could understand what I was going through.”

Stassi admitted she “totally” thought Patrick was “the one” and that the pair was headed for marriage. Still, she isn’t ruling out the possibility of reconciling someday.

“Five years from now, 10 years from now, if we came back into each other's lives [maybe]... but I'm using my head about the situation.”

The Straight Up With Stassi podcast host also made it clear – she’s still a big fan of her ex.

“I think he's a wonderful person… but right now, we do not mix well,” she admitted. “We fight. We fought way too much, it was way too up and down, we're both so stubborn… It's not like there wasn't enough love, that was there.”

Now, for the first time in a long time, Stassi is back in the dating world! But make no mistake, she’s set up some rules for herself.

“I'm really trying hard to not get in a serious relationship because that's what I do, that's what I always do,” she explained. “I go from one relationship to the next, and it's just so intense right away. I never experience just dating and being on my own and I said I want to give it at least a year of not having a boyfriend.”

For any potential male suitors out there, Stassi’s only non-negotiable? A sense of humor.

“The only thing I know for sure is that I like to laugh, and I like funny people so if someone is a dud, that's not really going to work for me.”
